Good investments
Helen the first day she rode her Ninja 400 (Reggie)

This is a short post to reflect on one of our recent wins. Enjoy!

On May 27th, 2022 Helen revealed to her concerned older sister that she purchased her first motorcycle. Her justifications was simply "It's a good investment":

Pictures may hold a thousand words, emojis hold at least 100 and if we were to translate Susan's "😬" into 100 words, we suspect it would look something like this:

I'm deeply concerned. I've known you for 30 years and 15 days. You met this boy only 6 months ago; now you're purchasing a $3800 death trap. While I've met that boy and I think he has a lot going for him– I agree with you his long curls are cute and I too hope he never cuts them– You're an adult now, and I want to respect your decisions, but what are you doing throwing $3800 down the drain!? This is a bad investment for your health and don't even get me started on the cost of ownership. Ugh.

Well Susan, on September 9th we sold that same bike for a price of $4000. Meaning we profited $200! Therefore Helen was correct; it was in fact, a "good investment." Unfortunately Adam's hair is not as long as it used to be, but we can't win them all.

This post is dedicated to Reginold, A.K.A. Reggie. Reggie was a beautiful little motorcycle that Helen learned to ride on. Even after riding Reggie for 5000 miles around the Bay Area, as far north as Salt Point State Park, Reggie was still a thrill to ride. You'll be missed Reggie; hopefully you're in a better place now. We hope your new owner continues to care for you. Ride safe.
